Onsite Janitorial Associate Part-Time(Zephyr Mountain Lodge)

About the role

The Onsite Janitorial Associate is responsible for ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and the overall maintenance of the assigned facility at Zephyr Mountain Lodge.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Dusting furniture, fixtures, and surfaces
• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste properly
• Cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors
• Refilling soap, paper towels, and toilet paper as needed
• Cleaning windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Polishing furniture and metal fixtures
• Maintaining and repairing basic tasks such as changing light bulbs
• Performing routine inspections to identify areas that require maintenance or repairs
• Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
• Properly handling and storing cleaning products and equipment
• Organizing and stocking cleaning supplies and equipment
• Managing inventory records of cleaning supplies and requesting replenishment as needed
• Managing supply storage areas in a neat and orderly manner
• Collaborating and communicating effectively with other janitorial staff or team members, as well as supervisors or facility managers regarding tasks and requirements

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in janitorial or similar roles preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
