Onsite IT Support Engineer

Our client is seeking an Onsite IT Support Engineer to join their team. As an Onsite IT Support Engineer, you will be part of the [Department Name] supporting [Team Name(s)]. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to stay calm and organized during production-impacting incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support for PCs, printers, scanners, test interfaces, and manufacturing-support systems used in production-critical environments.
• Monitor and maintain technology availability within the production environment to help ensure operational continuity.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues that affect day-to-day operations and production uptime.
• Support technology deployments, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure changes while minimizing disruption to manufacturing activities.
• Serve as the first responder for technology incidents impacting manufacturing by performing triage, diagnosis, and resolution, and maintaining ownership through complete resolution.

Requirements

• 3+ years of IT support, field services, desktop support, or infrastructure support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, operating systems, peripherals, and networking.
• Experience supporting Windows-based enterprise environments.
• Experience with incident management and ticketing systems.
• Ability to work independently in a customer-facing environment and coordinate effectively with local and remote IT teams.

Schedule

Participation in after-hours on-call rotation to support production-impacting incidents when required.
