About The Role
As an Onsite IT Asset Management Lead, you'll make an impact by owning the full lifecycle of IT assets across office and factory environments, keeping inventory accurate, spares stocked, and deployment-ready. In this hands-on lead role, you'll support end users directly, guide day-to-day desktop support activity, prioritize tickets and escalations, and help restore services quickly when issues arise. Your work directly reduces downtime; cuts repeat incidents and strengthens onsite support processes, helping both office and shop floor teams stay productive.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end IT asset operations (DaaS & Non-DaaS) across sites, ensuring inventory accuracy, stock availability, and SLA adherence
- Drive vendor, logistics, and warehouse coordination, including procurement planning, stock movement, and break-fix governance
- Maintain accurate asset inventory in ITSM/CMDB tools
- Handle receiving, shipping, and tracking of devices and spares across locations
- Monitor stock levels and trigger hardware/spare ordering (DaaS & Non-DaaS)
- Coordinate device imaging, staging, and deployment readiness
- Manage vendor/OEM coordination for hardware break-fix issues
- Track and manage warranty status (in-warranty and out-of-warranty)
- Provide basic troubleshooting support for laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Execute secure asset disposal and maintain compliance records
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience owning the end-to-end asset lifecycle (procurement, inventory, deployment, warranty, disposal), ensuring inventory accuracy and compliance, and driving lifecycle optimization and reporting
- 2-3 years governing asset data integrity in IT Shop and ServiceNow/CMDB, ensuring process adherence, and driving reporting and audits
- 1-2 years leading spare parts logistics across the USA and Canada, managing vendor relationships (break-fix, warranty), and handling escalations
- 1-2 years overseeing device imaging and deployment processes, ensuring SLA adherence and quality standards
- 1-2 years managing stock levels, triggering procurement decisions, and coordinating DaaS and non-DaaS fulfillment
Qualifications
- Experience supporting factory, shop floor, warehouse, or production environments where device uptime is critical
- Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users and collaborate effectively with cross-functional IT teams
