Onshore Business Finance – Corporate Bank Americas - Assistant Vice President

About the role

As part of the Global Corporate Bank (CB) Business Finance team, you will provide support to a key pillar of Deutsche Bank generating over 1bn EUR of revenue in the Americas. You will also play a critical role in the financial management/reporting function for the Business.

Responsibilities

• Validate and control revenue reporting, balance sheet, and internal transfer pricing
• Provide guidance to the Business on accounting issues
• Support the implementation of new products
• Respond to ad hoc queries
• Oversee and guide the CB Business Finance team based in Mumbai
• Interact with other functional areas such as Operations, Regional Finance, Risk Management, Treasury, etc.

Requirements

• Strong accounting skills including detailed knowledge of Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Capital Reporting
• Excellent analytical skills
• Experience with and knowledge of financial products and markets
• Demonstrable competency with Microsoft Office, as well as automation and AI solutions
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or similar field (CPA or similar preferred)

Expectations

The Bank expects employees hired into this role to work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

Pay

The salary range for this position in New York City is $85,000 to 129,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.
