What You Will Be Doing

  • Facilitating live virtual workshops by coordinating breakout rooms, managing transitions, and guiding group activities
  • Encouraging student participation and building confidence through chat interactions, recognition, and individual outreach
  • Supporting students in staying focused, motivated, and connected throughout their learning sessions
  • Collaborating with lead educators to manage operational details that ensure workshops function seamlessly
  • Serving as a positive, reliable presence and culture champion across bilingual tracks and student clubs

  • Developing lesson plans or evaluating student work

Basic Requirements

  • Available to work 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday, US Mountain Time (UTC-7)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or leading young people
  • Education experience within US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have completed schooling in one of these countries (current residence may be anywhere)
  • Excellent communication abilities and an energetic, student-centered approach with attention to detail
  • Able to begin by the end of July

Nice-to-have Requirements

  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms or youth development programs
  • Experience in after-school initiatives, summer camp settings, or club facilitation

Pay

$20 USD/hour, which equates to $40,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.

Schedule

The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record.
