About the Role

We are looking for a positive, courteous, and outgoing candidate to become a Lees Online Delivery Driver. As a Lees Online Driver, you will deliver online and call-in grocery orders, floral arrangements, pharmaceuticals, and special orders and requests throughout the store.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare orders placed online and over the phone.
• Deliver pickup orders to the guest's vehicle and delivery orders to their residence or place of business.
• Coordinate and communicate between store departments to ensure product delivery directly to the guest.
• Work one-on-one with departments to assist in all areas of the store between orders.
• Develop strong guest and team member relations through friendly and courteous behavior.
• Promote high morale within the store using honest, open, and consistent communication.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment while supporting a friendly culture focused on relationships and continuous improvement.
• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and directives; refer to the Team Member Handbook as needed.
• Promote a harassment-free environment and report potential harmful situations to management.
• Build knowledge and skills through training and education for yourself and other team members.
• Attend team, store, and company meetings as required; contribute to profit, revenue, and productivity goals.
• Use technology and back-end systems effectively to fulfill orders with expediency and quality.
• Shop and organize orders within designated store areas.
• Deliver all grocery orders, floral arrangements, pharmaceuticals, and special requests with the guest in mind.
• Load pickup orders into the guest's car in an expedient and friendly manner.
• Address all guest concerns politely and go above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Approach all store coordination with the guest in mind.

Requirements

• Minimum age: 21 years (due to delivery requirements).
• Ability to lift 30+ pounds.
• Familiarity with equipment such as computers, internet, grocery carts and bins, handheld computing devices, cash registers, etc.
• Physical abilities: Regularly walk, stand, sit, twist, bend, push, pull, carry, lift, reach, grip, and balance; occasionally stoop, crouch, kneel, or crawl. Lifting may include floor-to-shoulder and overhead lifting. Occasional use of step stools, ladders, or multiple flights of stairs.
• Communication: Ability to write, speak, hear, and understand the spoken word to respond to pages, requests, team members, and guests. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating manuals.
• Driving: Valid Driver's License and clean driving record required. Must be capable of driving large vehicles in challenging weather conditions.
• Comfortable using a personal phone for store and guest communication while on deliveries (GPS and phone use only when parked and for Lee's-related communication while on the clock).
