About the role
This position involves providing high-quality, virtual medical care across multiple states, focusing on addiction, weight management, and general telehealth services. The role offers flexible scheduling, allowing work from anywhere, with a minimum commitment of 15 hours weekly.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered virtual care and build therapeutic relationships.
- Order, interpret lab tests, and prescribe medications (excluding most controlled substances) with guidance on proper use.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation for continuity of care.
- Stay updated on medical advancements and telehealth best practices.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment.
Requirements
- Active medical licenses in at least three, preferably five, U.S. states, with willingness to obtain additional licenses.
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.
- DEA certification and applicable state licenses.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency with telemedicine platforms and EMRs.
- Ability to commit to at least 15 hours per week, working primarily during local daytime hours.
