Online Order Fulfillment Part Time

About the Role

Responsible for performing general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from sales floor to staging area, using handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, and operating equipment. As an Omni Experience Ambassador, you will work within all digital initiatives including: BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay, and Ship from Club.

Responsibilities

• Process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by pulling merchandise from a pick list.
• Utilize a handheld scanner (RF) device to pick orders from the sales floor and verify merchandise.
• Move merchandise from sales floor to staging area.
• Communicate problems with inventory and/or equipment, including expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
• Communicate with club team when merchandise needs replenishment and assist in pulling from reserve areas.
• Ensure all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet productivity requirements and key performance indicators.
• Follow operational efficiencies, processes, and productivity standards for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
• Securely package orders in accordance with standard operating procedures and maintain a neat, clean, and organized SFC area.
• Perform general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area.
• Handle damaged goods and spoiled products according to standard operating procedures.
• Process returns to the club and determine appropriate handling (via DDR or Membership desk).
• Maintain all club policies and procedures, including dress code standards.
• Meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLAs), performance metrics, and goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
• Deliver service excellence through all points of contact and resolve member concerns.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team members.
• Adhere to GOLD Member Standards: Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate (GAA).
• Maintain GOLD club standards: Fast, Friendly, Full, Fresh, Clean.
• Understand and access production and/or financial performance reporting for your department.

Requirements

• Previous order pulling experience preferred.
• Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
• Previous RF scanner experience preferred.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Job Conditions

• Most of the time is spent moving about continuously on hard surfaces.
• Frequent positioning to examine and/or scan merchandise, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping.
• Continuously requires lifting objects up to 30 pounds; may require lifting and moving heavy and/or awkward objects more than 30 pounds with assistance.
• Usually in a comfortable environment, but may be surrounded by moving machinery and/or loud equipment.
• Exposure to temperature extremes when pulling refrigerated orders.
• Occasional exposure to Company-approved cleaning agents.

Pay

The pay range for this position starts from $16.25 per hour. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
