About the role

Educify Inc. is seeking experienced music tutors to provide engaging, personalized online lessons to students across the United States. Tutors may teach piano, guitar, drums, voice, strings, woodwinds, brass, music theory, performance, or examination preparation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver reliable, high-quality online music lessons.
• Create lesson plans suited to each student's age, goals, learning style, and ability.
• Teach technique, musicianship, theory, performance skills, and exam preparation where applicable.
• Track progress and provide constructive feedback to students and families.
• Maintain professional communication, accurate scheduling, and safe teaching practices.
• Use dependable video-conferencing technology and a suitable virtual teaching environment.

Required qualifications

• ARCT designation or an equivalent advanced music qualification, certification, or degree.
• Strong subject knowledge and clear communication skills.
• Reliable internet, computer, camera, microphone, and online teaching setup.
• Professional, dependable, and able to work independently.

Preferred qualifications

• Previous private, studio, classroom, or online teaching experience.
• Experience teaching students of different ages and ability levels.
• Familiarity with recognized examination systems and performance preparation.

Pay

Compensation is $20–$40 per hour and varies by qualifications, experience, instrument or subject, lesson format, and assignment.
