About the role
The Linear Algebra Teacher at Dwight Global Online School is responsible for designing and delivering virtual classes in Linear Algebra to high school students. The position requires a combination of academic expertise, online teaching experience, and a passion for engaging students in remote learning environments.
Responsibilities
- Create and deliver engaging, interactive lessons in Linear Algebra using a variety of digital tools and platforms.
- Develop and implement effective online teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive curriculum and support student success.
- Maintain regular communication with students and parents through email, messaging apps, and virtual meetings.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- At least three years of experience teaching mathematics at the high school level.
- Experience teaching Linear Algebra specifically.
- Experience teaching online or in a virtual classroom setting.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate and/or Graduate degree in Math, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working, teaching, and collaborating online preferred.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Linear Algebra concepts and pedagogical methods.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms for teaching.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Pay
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Schedule
Classes will run from September 2026 onwards, with course preparation starting in June 2026. The teacher will be expected to teach synchronous classes during East Coast hours.
