Online Grocery Pick-Up Coordinator

About the role

The Food Pantry Volunteer Leader oversees the real-time fulfillment of neighbor grocery orders through drive-thru and direct distribution programs, leading volunteer teams of 20–40 individuals.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations, inventory replenishment, and volunteer training.
• Ensure a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all participants.
• Assist with setup, execution, and teardown of food distributions.
• Support technology and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and workplace standards.
• Engage with diverse populations and support operational needs across multiple distribution channels.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred experience in customer service, order entry, or grocery retail.
• Bilingual skills (Spanish) are a plus.
