About the role

We are seeking instructors to teach in our undergraduate Electronics Engineering Technology programs. Ideal candidates are experienced professionals in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Provide practical hands-on instruction to adult learners
  • Share specific industry experiences to help students achieve learning outcomes
  • Support busy adult learners evenings and weekends
  • Teach one live session and one live office hour per week via Zoom

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution; Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Experience with Multisim and Labview software; experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs
  • Familiarity with CAD software
  • 3-5 years industry experience in an electrical and/or manufacturing engineering field required; 7+ years career industry experience preferred
  • Industry experience must be within the last 5 years
  • Appropriate technical certification or licensure (if required)
  • Experience in Analog & Digital Electronics, Programmable Logic Controllers, Microcontrollers, Field Programmable Logic Arrays, FPGAs, Communication Systems, Robotics & Smart Manufacturing, Machine Learning, Computer Aided Drafting & Design, Engineering Mechanics

  • Ability to work in a 5-week accelerated course environment
  • Comfortable troubleshooting software or technical concerns for students
