No prior teaching experience is needed; we provide training, mentoring, and ongoing faculty support. As a faculty member, you'll provide practical hands-on instruction through the Canvas LMS in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies in order to enhance the learning experience of our Required Education/Certifications: Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in the discipline from a regionally accredited educational institution; Ph.D. in Criminal Justice discipline preferred. Experience 3-5 years industry experience required; 5-7 years career industry experience preferredIndustry experience must be within the last 5 years.Appropriate technical certification or licensure (if required) Required Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency in using technology to deliver online curriculum (Windows, Zoom)Ability to quickly build connections with students using strong interpersonal skills (including approachability and empathy).Ability to work in a 5-week accelerated course environmentThe highest levels of integrity at all times.
