About the role
The University of Miami School of Law seeks part-time faculty for its online Master of Legal Studies program. Courses aim to be taught asynchronously with one-on-one help from an in-house instructional designer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and teach online courses on introduction to law and regulation, compliance skills and risk management, and other specialized subjects.
- Teach predominantly asynchronously, focusing on interactive learning experiences.
- Highlight asynchronous, online teaching experience in cover letters.
Requirements
- A JD degree.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience or comparable expertise.
- Prior experience teaching asynchronously preferred.
Qualifications
- Subject area expertise in trust administration, family office management, healthcare law and compliance, cyber law and information privacy, AI and the law, real estate law, and other fields.
- Ability to develop and deliver engaging, interactive online courses.
