About the Role
The Director, Cancer Screening and Prevention will lead the development and implementation of statewide cancer screening and prevention programs. They will also provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure these programs are aligned with national and state cancer control policies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement statewide cancer screening and prevention programs
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to ensure alignment with national and state cancer control policies
- Drive increased participation in cancer screening and prevention programs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve program effectiveness and efficiency
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience in public health or related field
- Experience in cancer screening and prevention programs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Knowledge of cancer control policies and guidelines
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in public health, healthcare management, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
- Experience in developing and implementing public health programs
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
