One-Year Lecturer of English - Victorian

Essential Job Functions

• Excellent organizational and management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders as well as excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
• Training in composition pedagogy.
• Demonstrated commitment to promoting equitable literacy practices and creating inclusive, accessible learning environments for diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Specialization in English, particularly in the field of Victorian and/or Modern Literature.
• Knowledge of teaching rhetoric and composition.
• PhD. in English preferred, ABD considered.
• Experience working with underprepared and diverse student populations.

Physical Demands

• Light sedentary office work.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Prolonged periods of standing/walking.
