Position Responsibilities
- Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
- Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
- Identifies and communicates changes in patient’s status to RN and responds appropriately.
- Affords assistance in orientation of healthcare team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Position Qualifications
- Required / Experience Required: Must have strong communication skills.
- Required Education: High School diploma or GED.
- Training/Certifications/Licensure: Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.
