Qualifications
- Appropriate NJ Certification Required
- Significant knowledge of data collection, data analysis, and data reporting
- Ability to effectively use technology including technology for surveying, graphic, and the presentation of data
- Knowledge of language development, the reading process, and the components of reading performance to assess and instruct
- Ability to provide diagnostic testing to determine students' reading challenges and determine reading programs appropriate to a student's reading difficulty to remediate reading challenges
- Ability to provide direct instruction to enable students to develop literacy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and community
- Ability to create a positive educational climate for students
- Ability to prepare instruction methods based on student's needs and interests
Working Conditions
- Full Time
- Leave Replacement Through February 22, 2027
- Sick Days: 12
- Nonwork Days: 6
- Tuition Reimbursement per the negotiated contract linked above
Pay
- Ranges from $63,495.00-$107,695.00 (Prorated)
- Per Negotiated Contract (p. 42)

Selection Procedure
Candidates being considered for the position will be contacted by the hiring administrator to schedule an interview and demonstration lesson as required by the position.
Effective September 1, 2011, all employees of school districts must reside in the State of New Jersey, unless exempted under law. If you already work for the school district as of September 1, 2011, and you do not live in New Jersey, you are not required to move to New Jersey. However, if you begin your office, position or employment on September 1, 2011 or later, you must reside in New Jersey. If you do not reside in New Jersey, you have one year after the date you take your office, position or employment to relocate your residence to New Jersey. If you do not do so, you are subject to removal from your office, position or employment.
