Oncology/Surgical ICU Registered Nurse - Part Time

Role Overview This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized ICU setting, focusing on oncology, surgical, and critically ill patients. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans, promote patient safety, and educate patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs. Responsibilities Include Developing and documenting care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team and patients/families.Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient values and cultural considerations.Participating in quality and safety initiatives, professional development, and maintaining compliance with standards.Engaging in educational opportunities, certifications (CCRN, OCN, BMTNC), and career advancement programs. Qualifications And Skills Minimum education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Licensure: RN license required.Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome; 2+ years of ICU or related experience preferred.Additional skills: Critical thinking, communication, teamwork, and safety awareness.
