Oncology Strategy Director

About the role

This role will strengthen forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes that guide business decisions. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute strategic, cross-functional projects for Development leadership
• Independently drive project execution and influence diverse stakeholders
• Develop annual strategies for oncology portfolio planning
• Conduct technology assessments and landscape evaluations
• Perform cross-portfolio analytics and strategic decision-support activities
• Facilitate scientific collaborations with external partners
• Manage global communications and represent the organization externally

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 4 years of healthcare business experience or Master's degree with 7 years or Bachelor's degree with 9 years
• Preferred advanced degrees include MD, MBA, MS, or Ph.D
• 8+ years of strategy experience in management consulting, finance or corporate strategy roles
• Thorough knowledge of the biopharma industry, specifically in R&D processes and oncology
• Proven ability to positively influence stakeholders across various functions

Pay

$190,140 – $257,249 annually
