About the role

The Oncology Solutions Manager is responsible for identifying and managing Varian's Professional Services and Clinical Services to enhance Clinical, Operational, Financial, and Customer/Patient experiences for Varian customer accounts. This role requires a clinical background, five years of managerial experience in healthcare administration, particularly in Oncology Operations, and travel up to 75%. Key responsibilities include developing account penetration strategies, managing relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring that Varian solutions meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop account penetration strategies for key target accounts and provide management with quarterly reports of progress
  • Partner with Sales to develop and maintain relationships with all key buying influences in each account, including clinical, administrative, and C-suite members
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of each account’s current and long-term challenges and goals, keeping management and colleagues in Sales informed of all key opportunities
  • Confirm that the technologies and software licensing quoted by sales address all customer objectives
  • Develop Scopes of Work (SOWs) that detail the deployment of Professional Services to meet customers’ goals, including timelines
  • Work with Sales to quote Professional Services and Clinical Services and actively drive opportunities to close
  • For the Oncology Systems business only: The position must have full access to VMS client sites to perform the essential functions of this position.

Requirements

  • A minimum of five years of managerial experience in healthcare administration with experience in Oncology Operations (e.g., Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology)
  • Travel required on average 75%
  • Ability, competence, and confidence to lead people
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in utilizing business tools such as all Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday) or equivalent ERP product and productivity software
  • Demonstrated passion for client service and relationship building
  • Strategic, relevant knowledge and cross-functional experience to include Varian solutions and oncology operations and business
  • Understanding of different business models and ability to bring together complex technologies to create value for our partners and customers
  • Strong multimodal communication skills, communicating with all levels across organizations
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with a proven track record of collaboration and consensus building
  • Healthcare finance knowledge, including basic organizational P&L
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in clinical operations driving strategic and business planning, financial and operational performance
  • Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility
  • Meets all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to gain VMS client site access unless prohibited by law

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $128,490 - $176,671, with factors such as geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications affecting starting pay. If this is a commission eligible position, the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.

Position Requirements

  • Full access to Siemens Healthineers' client sites to perform the essential functions of this position
  • Meeting all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to gain VMS client site access unless prohibited by law
  • Required to meet certain Vendor Credentialing requirements, which may include proof of valid identification, criminal background checks, drug screens, immunizations, annual TB testing, and healthcare training
