About the role
EVERSANA is seeking an Oncology Sales Representative to support the launch of a newly approved targeted therapy for lung cancer. The role involves selling the oncology product to oncology practices in an assigned geographic territory.
Responsibilities
- Create, build, and maintain relationships and regular communication with physicians and key thought leaders in the US.
- Utilize the customer relationship management system to keep call records including account planning.
- Ensure a high level of expertise and customer service is delivered to all customers.
- Responsible for collaborating effectively and mobilizing all appropriate resources.
- Communicate product scientific information to healthcare professionals, oncologists, and other key stakeholders.
- Adapt to oncology advances by completing training to understand the disease state and positioning of our client’s product.
- Travel to medical offices and hospitals (80%) with some overnight travel may be necessary.
- Work 40 hours per week potentially including weekend medical meetings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in business, life science, or clinical fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of previous pharmaceutical, medical device, and medical sales experience, with at least 1 year in oncology.
- Consistent track record of quantifiable/documented sales accomplishments.
- Ability to plan, analyze, and act upon sales data within an assigned geography.
- Solid and persuasive business communication with physicians and providers.
- Ability to work independently and exercise good business judgment and discretion.
- Familiarity with a Sales Force Automation (SFA) application.
- Proficiency in business software such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel approximately 30% as needed to cover territory, up to 2-hour radius from headquarters, with some overnight travel.
- Knowledge of the clinical product sell.
- A proven track record in territory.
- Strong knowledge of VEEVA systems.

The base salary range for this position is USD 145,000 - USD 180,000 yearly. Compensation is determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).
