Short-term locum assignment for a Board Certified Radiation Oncologist in Missouri City, MO. Hospital-based opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule, no call, and a diverse oncology case mix.
About the Role

- Coverage Dates: November 30 – December 4, 2026
- Potential for extension
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM (1-hour unpaid lunch)
- No call
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based Radiation Oncology
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
- EMR: Epic with ARIA platform
- Patient Volume: Approximately 21 patients per day
Responsibilities
- New patient consultations
- Follow-up visits
- On-treatment visits (OTVs)
- Imaging review
- Toxicity assessments
- Supportive care management
- Treatment planning and supervision

- Palliative and emergent cases (spinal cord compression, brain metastases, superior vena cava syndrome)

Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
- Active Missouri medical license
- Missouri BNDD and DEA required
- BLS required
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Stereotactic (SRS/SBRT) case logs required
- Credentialing: Approximately 60 days (Missouri license required; no licensing assistance available)

Ideal Candidate
A Board Certified Radiation Oncologist experienced in a broad spectrum of disease sites and advanced radiation techniques, including SRS and SBRT, who is available for a one-week assignment with the possibility of extension.
