Oncology - Radiation Physician

About the role

Join a collegial group 2 hours north of Chicago and 1 hour west of Milwaukee, in a safe suburban community between Madison, Milwaukee, and Chicago. This position is part of an existing panel of patients and growing practice within a collaborative group of 5 physicists and 5 dosimetrists. The role is served by dedicated nurses, therapists, and staff at a well-run office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement radiation oncology treatment plans
• Conduct patient consultations to assess treatment needs and preferences
• Manage daily operations and workflow to ensure efficient service delivery
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiation oncology through continuing education and professional development

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree with a specialization in radiation oncology
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Wisconsin
• Experience in radiation oncology preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of radiation oncology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in relevant software and technology
