About the role
Loyola Medicine Transport, based at Loyola University Medical Center, is part of a three-hospital system including Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, and MacNeal Hospital. As an oncology pharmacist, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to various patient populations by compounding and dispensing medications to achieve optimal outcomes in the safest manner possible.
Responsibilities
- Participate in medication therapy evaluation
- Provide drug information to staff and patients
- Facilitate positive outcomes in the practice setting
- Participate in quality improvement activities
- Support the mission of Loyola University Medical Center Pharmacy Services and Cancer Service Line by performing duties in a customer-focused, cost-effective, and results-oriented manner
Requirements
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm)
- Residency in Pharmacy Practice – General (Preferred)
- Residency in Specialty – Oncology (Preferred)
- 1-2 years of previous job-related experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardio Life Support Certified) – Preferred

Pay
Pay Rate: $69.40 per hour. Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
