Oncology Nurse (RN) Navigator

About the role
The nurse navigator provides individualized assistance to tumor site-specific patients and their families in overcoming barriers to care, facilitating timely access to care, and providing education and support. The cancer patient’s trajectory through diagnosis, treatment, and after-care survivorship will be seamless and coordinated in collaboration with the multidisciplinary oncology team.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required or higher
- BSN preferred
- Current North Carolina nursing license
- Oncology experience preferred
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) preferred or must be obtained within 2 years of employment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Organized, able to multi-task, analytical, strong time management
- Ability to work well under stress and provide emotional support
Pay
Oncology Nurse Navigator salary range: $72,259.20 – $105,328.08 per year. Final compensation is determined at the offer stage.
