Oncology Data Abstractor :Part Time

Responsibilities

• Abstract and code patient information from medical records to meet the requirements of various target registries
• Maintain a 98% or higher IRR score
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of data entries
• Work closely with healthcare providers and data coordinators to gather necessary information
• Comply with reporting requirements for ACS CoC, NPCR and SEER

Requirements

• Current Oncology Data Specialist (ODS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of recent clinical data abstraction experience in a hospital setting (or equivalent)
• Proficiency with EMR systems and multiple cancer registry software applications
• Previous remote work experience preferred

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
