Seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient hematology and oncology care with physician oversight.
Responsibilities
- Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
- Developing and adjusting treatment plans
- Providing patient and family education and care coordination
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Documenting clinical activities accurately and timely
- Participating in outpatient and inpatient patient assessments and care
Requirements
- Active APRN or PA-C licensure in Nevada and certification through recognized bodies
- At least 1 year of oncology APC experience or 3+ years as an RN in oncology
- Familiarity with EMR systems, especially EPIC
- Ability to obtain DEA license if not already held
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP®) or willingness to obtain certification
Pay
$104,500 to $156,000 annually
