Oncology Advanced Practice Provider NP / PA - Full-Time

Seeking an Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient hematology and oncology care with physician oversight.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, diagnosing, and managing patients with hematologic and oncologic conditions
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests
• Developing and adjusting treatment plans
• Providing patient and family education and care coordination
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Documenting clinical activities accurately and timely
• Participating in outpatient and inpatient patient assessments and care

Requirements

• Active APRN or PA-C licensure in Nevada and certification through recognized bodies
• At least 1 year of oncology APC experience or 3+ years as an RN in oncology
• Familiarity with EMR systems, especially EPIC
• Ability to obtain DEA license if not already held

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner (AOCNP®) or willingness to obtain certification

Pay

$104,500 to $156,000 annually
