Responsibilities
- Complete custodian paperwork to establish accounts for individuals, trusts or entities
- Transfer funds via check requests, wires, SLOAs, or Money Links
- Update account names or addresses, initiate managed accounts, establish margin accounts, update beneficiaries
- Request IRA distributions, transfer assets in via ACAT, or edit cost basis information
- Prepare manager paperwork for managed accounts and communicate to ensure accurate and timely completion
- Assist in subscription document preparation and information-gathering as directed by Investment Analysts
- Provide bill pay and accounting services for select clients, including preparing bills for review, coding and entering into QuickBooks, reconciling accounts at month end, entering journal entries, and preparing reports for the Advisor
- Prepare preliminary payroll reports for review by the Advisor for clients requiring payroll services
- Perform PTO tracking, benefit administration, and specialized reporting
- Prepare customized cash flow, recordkeeping, and other specialized financial reports for clients upon request
- During tax season, gather and track tax information for assigned clients and transfer it to the CPAs
- Prepare agendas, print and organize deliverables, update task lists, scan notes and documents to the client’s folder, participate in team meetings, and execute on assigned tasks in preparation for and following quarterly meetings
- Provide general office support such as backup on phones, copying and/or scanning documents, and completing special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Two to four years of relevant experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with a high level of competency in Excel
- Complete integrity with an uncompromised reputation
- Ability to maintain total confidentiality
- Excellent team player who enjoys collaboration but also works well individually
- Strong work ethic
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to remain detail-oriented while multi-tasking and working at a fast pace
- Ability to take ownership of projects and carry them through to completion
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds
- Onsite work required 4 days per week
U.S. Eligibility Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be willing to execute Corient’s Employee Agreement or Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreement
