(On-site) Ultrasound Lab Engineer/Technician- Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute
About The Opportunity
We are seeking a hands-on laboratory engineer or technician to support development and testing of ultrasound technology for pre-clinical and human clinical use. This is an on-site position in the RNI labs in Morgantown, WV.

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in ultrasound engineering
- Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
- Expertise in the use of ultrasound lab equipment including oscilloscopes, function generators, amplifiers, ultrasound transducers, and hydrophones
- Demonstrated ability to work in an ultrasound lab either in academic, military or medical environments
- Interfaces with PCs
- Familiar with LabView, MatLab, K-wave, 3-D Slicer, Schlieren imaging, SolidWorks and similar preferred
- Ability to do basic fixture and other mechanical design a plus
- Comfortable using Microsoft office suite
- Resourceful, hands-on and self-motivated
- Excellent communications skills
- Detail oriented
- Excellent team player
- Able to collaborate well with engineers and other team members
