About the role

The Technical Project Coordinator will manage multiple customer implementation, infrastructure, and server deployment projects simultaneously from kickoff through completion. They will develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, timelines, and deliverables. They will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple customer implementation, infrastructure, and server deployment projects simultaneously from kickoff through completion.
  • Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Account Managers, Project Engineers, Systems Engineers, and Sales Engineers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Cook up server deployments, cloud migrations, network implementations, and managed IT projects while understanding technical requirements and project dependencies.
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, document action items, and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify project risks, resolve roadblocks, and manage customer expectations.
  • Prepare and maintain Statements of Work, implementation documentation, project plans, and technical documentation.
  • Cook up internal and external resources to ensure projects remain on schedule and within scope.
  • Support change management initiatives and continuously improve project workflows and implementation processes.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and project handoffs between engineering and support teams.
  • Utilize project management tools to track resources, milestones, and project progress.
  • Ensure projects meet quality standards, documentation requirements, and customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is required.
  • Strong hands-on technical background supporting, implementing, or deploying IT infrastructure.
  • Previous experience in a technical role such as Systems Engineer, Project Engineer, Implementation Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar is highly preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience coordinating or managing technical infrastructure or managed services projects.
  • Strong understanding of server deployments, Microsoft environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure, virtualization, networking, storage, backup solutions, and managed IT services.
  • Ability to confidently communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while understanding technical implementation challenges.
  • Experience managing project timelines, Statements of Work, project documentation, risks, budgets, and customer communications.
  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with one or more of the following is highly valued: Server migrations and deployments Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 implementations Active Directory and Windows Server VMware or Hyper-V virtualization Network infrastructure, switching, routing, and firewalls Storage, backup, and disaster recovery solutions Professional Services or Implementation Engineering Managed Services project delivery
