About the role

We're hiring a part-time On-Site Service Representative in the Tampa Bay area. The On-Site Service Representative (OSR) supports assigned customers by managing their inventory, providing outstanding customer service, and driving account growth through Grainger’s inventory management (KeepStock) program. OSRs work with partners to implement sales strategies and help customers understand how Grainger can address their MRO needs.

Responsibilities

  • Service multiple customer locations.
  • Receive and stock purchased product in designated customer locations; ensure product stocking levels by scanning for ordering purposes as inventory is depleted.
  • Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote customer loyalty.
  • Follow designated route defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time.
  • Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility where the service is being provided.
  • Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
  • Probe for customer needs during each site visit and work with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings.

Requirements

  • 3 years' experience in a selling or service environment.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs and/or work in difficult positions.
  • Collaboration and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle different technical and operational issues.
  • Valid driver’s license in State of residence.
  • Must carry required levels of automobile insurance.

Pay

This position is hourly, with an anticipated base pay range of $21.54 to $26.93 per hour. The range reflects potential base pay at the time of posting and may vary based on geographic location, relevant experience, and skills. Compensation is subject to change at Grainger’s discretion.
