About the role

DCI Donor Services (DCIDS) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team in saving lives through organ and tissue donation. Our mission is to end the transplant waiting list by maximizing the gift of life through coordinated donation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively capture medical information into donor management software
  • Facilitate the donation process through coordination and communication with donor families and medical personnel
  • Support families of potential donors and communicate the opportunity for donation using empathy and care
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A minimum of a two-year degree in a health-related field, nursing, or paramedic/EMT certification
  • One to two years of experience in a healthcare-related position, including use of medical terminology
  • CTBS, RN, or LPN certification preferred
  • Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and multitask
  • Exceptional teamwork, communication, and conflict management skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in intrapersonal skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills

Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a two-year degree in a health-related field, nursing, or paramedic/EMT certification, one to two years of experience in a healthcare-related position, including use of medical terminology, and CTBS, RN, or LPN certification preferred.
