(On-site) Instructor/Assistant Professor - School of Nursing/Adult Health Department
Faculty Responsibilities
Clinical teaching in BSN programs.
In addition to clinical teaching, other formats of teaching, including traditional classroom instruction, skills lab, small group, and simulation teaching may be included.
Teaching of clinical and learning labs will be expected depending on faculty expertise and program needs.
Some didactic teaching may be required.
Student advisement may be needed.
Required Education and Experience
A master’s degree (MSN) in nursing and one year of professional nursing practice experience, or a bachelor's degree (BSN) with ten (10) years of professional nursing practice experience.
Required to have an unencumbered WV RN License by position start date.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants with an earned doctorate in nursing or a related field are encouraged to apply.
Evidence of current experience in teaching sufficient to demonstrate professional competence preferred.
