On-Site Handyman/Contractor

About the role

City Wide Staffing Solutions provides commercial cleaning services for a large client campus in the Erie, PA area. We are seeking a full-time, day shift handyman/contractor to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform light handyman/contractor services in various offices/work areas including light carpentry, moving furniture, minor plumbing, minor electrical work, weather stripping, masonry repair, various painting repairs, flooring repairs, drywall patching, door and window repair, ceiling tile repair and replacement.
• Maintain clean and orderly maintenance service areas and equipment.
• Arrive on time and ready to perform shift duties.

Requirements

• Handyman and/or Contractor work experience required.
• Full-time Hours: Monday-Friday.
• Must be 18 years old and successfully pass a background check.
• Reliable, willing to work at a fast pace, and very detailed.
• Ability to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor's directions.
• Follow building or customer specific COVID protocols.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Use of personal vehicle to pick up supplies and transfer them between buildings.
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to perform light electrical and plumbing work.
• Ability to move furniture.
• Personal tools required (special tools if needed will be provided by client).

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must be professional, outgoing, and friendly.

Skills
