On-site EAP Counselor
About the role
TELUS Health is seeking a licensed mental health professional for a part-time, on-site contract position providing Employee Assistance Program (EAP) services to the workforce in the local community. The ideal candidate will deliver short-term, solution-focused therapy and assessments, helping employees navigate personal and professional challenges through brief interventions and skill-building approaches. This role is 100% on-site on Thursdays for 4 hours weekly, preferably from 10am–2pm CDT.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site short-term, solution-focused counseling to employees in Chicago.
- Manage a varied caseload, adapting to different client needs and consultation reasons.
- Promote well-being in the workplace through brief interventions and skill-building approaches.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience.
- Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and/or short-term solution-focused counseling experience required.
- Experience working with corporate clients and/or in a corporate setting preferred.
- Must be clinically licensed and able to practice without supervision.
- Must have Professional Liability Insurance with a minimum of $1,000,000 per claim and $3,000,000 per aggregate.
