About the role
Join us in achieving volume and distribution sales goals for our brands across Sazerac’s diverse spirits portfolio and connect consumers and brands. You’ll partner with vibrant on-premise accounts (restaurants and bars) in your assigned territory, driving daily execution, events, tastings, and promotions that showcase our spirits and create memorable consumer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Implement innovative solutions to boost business for assigned accounts and grow market share for Sazerac brands.
- Leverage consumer and category trends to educate customers, solve challenges, and increase sales.
- Lead distributors to support in-outlet selling and execution.
- Help achieve volume objectives across our diverse portfolio.
- Implement and execute programs that deliver on distribution, merchandising, display, and retail promotional goals.
- Develop mutually valuable rapport with assigned customers by understanding their key needs and requirements.
- Serve as the communication lead between key customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.
- Track agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent goal attainment.

Requirements
- Highly achievements-focused resume; highlight your successes and impact in sales.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of sales experience in the alcohol-beverage or CPG industries; on-premise experience preferred. New college graduates require a sales/marketing internship or full/part-time sales role (preferably in CPG) and/or sales competition experience.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting volume objectives and delivering new points of distribution, placements, events, and promotions.
- Technical savvy: demonstrated success using sales data analytics and tools to drive results, identify trends, and produce measurable outcomes.
- Mobility: valid driver’s license and ability to travel within an assigned territory.
- Schedule flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Candidate must reside in or near the territory.
- Ability to personally cover ordinary and essential business expenses that will be promptly reimbursed.
- Required to obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.
Physical Requirements
- Standing for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 35 lbs without assistance.
- Ability to ascend or descend stairs.
- Ability to drive and visit multiple accounts in one day.
- Strong communication skills.
