On Premise Activation Agent
About the role
This is a field-based role based in Houston, TX that is responsible for the success of a portfolio of Pre-Mix (RTD & FMB) bev-alc brands within a defined territory.
Responsibilities
- Engage customers to plan, design, and execute activities that will drive commercial growth within the channel.
- Drive brand presence, performance, and advocacy in select On Premise accounts using strategic engagement activities and business-focused solutions
- Spottin activation opportunities and proposing client brands as the solution to customers – activating against those opportunities quickly & efficiently
- Install and maintain appropriate point-of-sale / printed materials within accounts that are clean and current
- Plan, book, and deploy at bar consumer experiences
- Impart key brand attributes to clients, trade, and consumers
- Parel with client commercial teams to identify commercial opportunities to support business growth
- Maintain open communication with client & agency stakeholders and support resources
- Complete accurate and timely management of agency initiatives including: Budget and expense management, All reporting responsibilities, Tracking and management of performance data using agency-appointed platforms, Participation in all internal training initiatives
- Manage administrative tasks with attention to meeting agency compliance guidelines and standards
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the beer or spirits industry, ready-to-drink experience preferred
- Confident and charismatic with excellent personal presentation and communication skills
- Ability to tailor communications for a variety of On Premise environments
- A self-starter that can implement a course of action or plan and see it through to a successful outcome with minimal supervision or oversight
- Must live and travel within assigned territory with access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel on an ad hoc basis, including nights and weekends required
- Computer and tablet literacy with the ability to use software applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and e-mail programs such as Outlook
- Ability to use Business Information Tools, including performance dashboards, commercial sales platforms, and specialized customer tools
- Proven track record in building relationships with customers as well as internal associates
- Diligence and ability to follow through on all commitments (internal and external stakeholders)
- Strong oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
- Desire for mentorship and willingness to mentor others, contribute to team culture
- Bilingual (English and Spanish-speaking) a plus
Benefits
The base compensation range for this job classification is between $65,000.00-$80,000.00 annually. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related skills and qualifications, length of service, brand program, and geographic location. This job classification is bonus-eligible, with bonus potential subject to applicable bonus plan terms and conditions.
