About the role

Primary focus will be to service existing business operationally and financially while maintaining relationships with current customers and developing new business where possible.

Responsibilities

• Perform all basic cleaning duties, including:
  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms: restocking toilet tissue and dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning fixtures, mirrors, partition doors, and walls
  • Sweeping and mopping tile floors, cleaning toilets and urinals
  • Moving, vacuuming, and repositioning furniture; emptying trash and replacing liners
  • Checking all trash containers prior to moving
  • Dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, gum removal, dusting, and spot cleaning glass
  • Picking up larger objects from the floor
• Perform additional duties as required, such as attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up for trash and restroom concerns
• Restock carts and closets at the end of each shift

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 1 year of experience
• Strong communication skills
• Must be willing to work assigned hours

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be physically able to bend, stoop, climb, and reach
• Must be able to lift, move, and use containers of water, cleaning fluids, and germicidal agents
• Must be able to lift and use wet mops and other janitorial equipment
• Work outdoors in all changing weather conditions in the geographical area
• Standing, walking, sitting, stooping, or kneeling for extended periods
