On Call Snowplow Operator (Temporary)
On-call Snowplow Operators are needed from approximately October 15th through March 27, 2027, to support snow removal functions during the 2026/2027 winter season.
About the role
This is an opportunity for individuals with experience in snow removal during Maine winters to help the local community. Ideal candidates will possess a CDL and be able to legally operate all assigned City of Bangor Public Works Department vehicles and equipment. Some select opportunities may be available for those without a CDL but with extensive experience operating equipment that does not require a CDL, such as sidewalk machines or pickup trucks with plows.
Pay
$22.43 to $30.11 per hour.
