During the seven days on, you will serve as a trusted clinical resource for hospice patients and families during evenings, nights, and weekends, responding to changing patient needs, providing symptom management and crisis support, completing visits when needed, and helping families feel confident and supported during some of their most difficult moments. This role is ideal for an RN who is clinically confident, independent, comfortable making decisions in the field, and values having a full seven consecutive days away from work every other week.

  • Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, facilities, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, and care coordination within the EMR.

Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience; hospice, home health, palliative care, oncology, emergency, or critical care experience preferred.
  • Strong assessment, symptom management, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and confidently respond to changing patient needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patients and families.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile insurance required.

Benefits

  • Mileage reimbursement for patient visits
  • Comprehensive benefits and 401(k) with company match
  • PTO, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and additional voluntary benefits

Schedule

Seven consecutive days on, followed by seven consecutive days off. Monday–Thursday | 4:30 PM – 8:00 AM; Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 8:00 AM. Every other week you are completely off, providing a consistent rotating schedule that allows you to plan your life in advance and enjoy 26 weeks off each year.
