Pay

$30.00 - $35.00 USD per hour

Schedule

Friday - Monday (any shift)

• AM: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• PM: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Overnight: 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Qualifications

• Active, valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license
• Graduation from an accredited school of licensed vocational nursing or psychiatric technology
• Associate degree preferred
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience with medication administration (required)
• One (1) year of experience treating individuals with mental illness in an inpatient setting (preferred)
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Current CPR certification
• First Aid certification from an approved provider (such as the American Red Cross)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care, including medication administration
• Supervise nursing activities of unit staff
• Order, prepare, and document medications according to physician orders
• Confirm pharmacy deliveries
• Communicate important information to the team
• Write weekly client summaries as assigned
• Maintain accurate nursing documentation throughout the shift
• Perform other related duties as needed

About the Program

The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility designed to help adult residents, ages 18-59, who experience a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to the community.

• 24/7 program with therapeutic and mental health services
• Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
• Pre-vocational or vocational counseling
• Medication evaluation and support services
• Daily exercise and health/wellness education
• Crisis intervention
