On-Call Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Responsibilities

• Absess and address resident needs while developing personalized care plans.
• Provide guidance and supervision to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other care staff, ensuring the highest level of care delivery.
• Show genuine desire to improve the lives of others and uphold the highest standards of nursing care.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing nursing care.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid and active LPN license in Oregon.
• Availability to work at least 1-2 shifts per week, 2 weekend shifts per month (Required).

Qualifications

• New nurses can participate in a 3-month Long Term Care New Nurse Residency, involving the Geri-Res residency curriculum and a structured onsite mentorship.
• Professional development opportunities through OHCA, available at no cost to Nurse Residents.
• Nurse Residents are eligible to apply for a Long-Term Care New Nurse Incentive payment following completion of the residency and three additional months of employment.
