ON CALL FACILITIES CUSTODIAN

Primary Responsibilities

• Ensure facility interior and exterior is free from debris and trash.
• Floor cleaning that may involve buffing, waxing, mopping, carpet cleaning, spot cleaning, etc.
• Wash windows, walls, light fixtures and ceilings.
• Clean hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, etc.
• Cleanup emergency spills that may include biohazards (i.e., blood, vomit, raw sewage).
• Ensure facilities supplies (i.e. toilet paper, paper towels, hand washing soap, etc.) are stocked.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with staff and others.
• Aid with meeting room and special events set-up and breakdown as appropriate.
• Follow facility rules as they apply to safety, cleanliness and proper use of equipment and property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related college, trade or apprentice experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum of two (2) years of custodial/janitorial & maintenance experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under SEI's auto insurance.
