On Call Emergency Management Specialist, Safety
Who You Are
- Required Qualifications:
- HS Diploma
- 7+ years’ experience, including 1+ years in safety and/or 1+ years in an Emergency Management role (Response, Recovery or related)
- 3 years of cumulative safety experience, within the last 10 years, managing or implementing a SOH program on projects similar in industry type, size, and complexity as the project described in the contract scope of work
- 24 hours of documented formal classroom or online SOH-related training within the past five years and must maintain competency by taking 8 hours every year for the duration of the contract
- Broad knowledge of Safety and Emergency Management principles, methods and techniques
- OSHA 30 Construction, General Industry or higher OSHA certification (DOL Wallet Card Required after 90 Days of Course Completion)
- Intermediate computer experience with Microsoft office, Adobe and mobile applications
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate/Bachelor’s Degree in Safety or Emergency Management (or related field)
- Current First Aid, CPR/AED Certification with hands on component
- Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAP) Certification
- EM 385-1-1 training and Certification
- FEMA Emergency Management Institute Independent Study Courses - (IS-100/102/200/700/800/815)
- Management and Supply Logistical Operational Experience
- Previous safety experience working in a high tempo hazardous field environment 7 days a week
- Experience in a Field Staging Areas, State EOC (Emergency Operations Center) or related environment

Compensation
Expected Salary (all locations): $30-$35/hour
