Important Notes:

• On-Call positions are temporary and do not include state benefits.
• Flexible scheduling – a great fit for students, retirees, or anyone needing work/life balance.

• On-Call positions are required to work a minimum of 32 hours per month. 16 of those hours will be required on the weekend, which falls between 2:30pm on Friday and 6:45am on Monday morning.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• Assist with daily living, skill-building, and personal care
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment
• Work as part of a compassionate, collaborative team

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs regularly
• Proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend the language effectively
• Other positions classified to this class may be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, and blood and airborne pathogens such as TB, HIV, and Hepatitis
• Incumbents are required to have the ability to lift, bend, push, and/or pull 50 pounds on a continuous basis to assist clients in meeting their needs and maintaining safety within the home

Training

Now Offering Flexible Training Options!

• If you already have an active CNA license on the Nebraska registry, you can complete your training in the evenings/weekends.
• If you're not yet licensed, you'll attend a week of ICF DD Nursing assistant class Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Pay

Developmental Technician I (Part Time/On-Call) - $16.124/hour - Plus an additional $3 for every hour worked & shift differential!
