ON CALL CNA

About the role

Vi at Palo Alto is located at 620 Sand Hill Road, Palo Alto, CA 94304. This is an on-call position.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed care staff in performing a variety of clinical and technical tasks for assigned residents, including activities of daily living.
• Provide light housekeeping and dining/tray services.
• Offer escort services and perform vital signs and weights.
• Carry out other care-related duties as assigned.
• Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
• Notify care team of resident changes of condition as they occur.

Requirements

• Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Prior experience working with geriatric clients is preferred.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Current CPR/Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required.
• Current First Aid certification is required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
• Food handlers certification and Certified Medical Technician/Certified Medication Aide certification, where required.
• Basic computer skills or ability to learn.

USD $31.00 - USD $31.00 per hour.
