Job Summary: We are seeking high-energy, flexible, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as an On-Call Behavior Technician / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) at Success On The Spectrum Sanford. In this role, you provide vital backup support for our clinic, ensuring seamless coverage for our pediatric clients when regular staff members are absent. As an on-call team member, you will deliver one-on-one clinical interventions to help children build critical social, language, and life skills through active, play-based therapy. How On-Call Compensation Works: On-Call Standby Rate: You will receive a guaranteed $2.00 per hour on all scheduled on-call days just for remaining on standby, reachable, and ready to respond.Active Clinic Rate: If you are called in to cover a shift, you will receive your base rate ($18.00–$19.00/hr) PLUS your $2.00/hr on-call premium, resulting in an effective rate of $20.00 to $21.00 per hour while working in the clinic! Responsibilities: Standby Availability: Remain accessible via phone/text during designated on-call hours and be ready to report to the clinic in a timely manner when called in.Clinical Delivery: Implement customized ABA treatment plans designed by our BCBAs to help children learn through structured play and social interaction.Activity Design: Incorporate engaging sensory activities, arts and crafts, games, and interactive exercises to keep sessions dynamic.Data & Documentation: Log client progress in real time using our clinical software and complete daily SOAP notes immediately following each session.Clinic Environment: Participate in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitized learning environment for all clients and staff. Compensation & Professional Growth: Competitive On-Call & Shift Pay: $2.00/hr standby rate, increasing to $20.00–$21.00/hr total when called in for clinic coverage.The RBT Bump: $19.00/hr base rate (plus $2.00 on-call premium = $21.00/hr total) upon passing your official RBT certification exam.Fully Funded Onboarding: 100% coverage of your 40-hour RBT training course, competency evaluation, and mandatory BLS/CPR and QBS Safety Care credentials.Tuition & Supervision Perks: Reduced tuition rates for BCBA degree programs through select university partnerships, plus free, accredited clinical supervision hours.Career Tracks: Bi-annual performance reviews offer clear paths to transition into full-time roles, Level 1–3 tiers, or Trainer positions. Who We Are Looking For: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred).Flexibility & Reliability: Ability to report to the clinic on short notice when notified during scheduled on-call shifts.Communication: Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, comfortably sit/play on the floor, and maintain high energy with active children.Background & Transportation: Must pass a required background check and have a reliable vehicle with a valid driver's license.
