On Air Talent & APD / Production Assistant BOOST Radio

About the Role

Full-time, in-studio position at BOOST Radio (Christian Hip Hop format) in the Greater St. Louis area. Reports to the Program Director.

Responsibilities

• Execute a high-energy, engaging daily air shift with authentic, conversational, relatable content
• Turn phones, texts, social media, games, and listener stories into the focal point of the show
• Bring deep understanding of—or genuine curiosity to immerse in—CHH culture, artists, trends, and releases to on-air conversations
• Oversee mix song lists, Mix DJ schedule, and mix placement into logs (APD/MD duties)
• Create, schedule, and reconcile daily music logs
• Input, code, and track all music data inside music scheduling software
• Coordinate schedules for all on-air staff
• Assist Production Director with creating, editing audio, and dubbing audio into WideOrbit
• Oversee guest Mix DJs and track weekly assets to meet production deadlines
• Write creative, concise, punchy copy for station liners, promos, underwriting spots, and imaging
• Create engaging content for social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Turn on-air moments into compelling digital touchpoints
• Represent the BOOST brand personally on social platforms and at station/community events
• Weave faith into content creation; live out growing personal relationship with Jesus; maintain active involvement in a local, Bible-believing church community

Qualifications

• Radio and marketing experience a plus
• Strong content creation skills
• Highly motivated to grow and develop while working hard and loving people well
• Basic proficiency with audio production software (e.g., Adobe Audition)
• Familiarity with or eagerness to learn WideOrbit and PowerGold radio automation and music scheduling software
