Job Description NBCUniversal is looking for an On-Air Scheduling Coordinator who is responsible for maintaining the on-air play-out schedules for the on-air operation. The coordinator serves as a direct point of contact between on-air operations, commercial operations, and program operations to ensure that playlists are scheduled properly for air. Essential Functions Maintains air ready schedules and program formats for play-out across the suite of NBCUniversal cable and broadcast properties, digital and linear, by way of NBCUniversal’s proprietary scheduling systemsCoordinates the scheduling and reprocessing of quick turnaround primetime programming to ensure we provide a complete 24/7 continuous schedule across all networks and channelsPerforms traffic compares and any scheduling or formatting changes needed because of programming changes, traffic adjustments, or operational needs of the NOCUnderstands all technical programs required including but not limited to TLL, Webscheduler, OTTO, Wide Orbit, Sintec, and StreetliteExecutes contingency scheduling for sports replays such as JIPs, filler programming, and sliding of schedules to bring networks back on timeValidates webscheduler playlists for reliable resource and hardware assignments prior to play outAssists with troubleshooting as neededWillingness and open availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, to meet the 24/7 operational needsMust be willing to work in Stamford, CTHybrid: This position currently has a hybrid schedule, which requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: A High School Diploma and relevant certification or Associate's Degree in Media or Communications, or equivalent professional experience in broadcast, digital, or post production role. A solid understanding of television production, broadcast operations, and/or news/sports/entertainment technical production requirements. Desired Qualificiations: Associates degree in related field or equivalent professional experience required2+ years of professional experience working with traffic systems or any on-air scheduling system 2+ years experience working in a 24/7 broadcast operation Strong computer skills required, especially Microsoft Office products including, Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to learn new software programsStrong client service and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in fast-paced, high-pressure, team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAdditional Requirements: Interested candidate must submit a resume/CV through www.nbcunicareers.com to be consideredThis position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
